 The President of Global Catalyst & Process
Technology, PLLC, Dr. M. Edward Morrison, received his Ph. D. in Chemical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology in 1965. He is a registered Professional Engineer.
After serving in the United States Air Force, he joined a major multinational specialty chemicals firm, AKZO-NOBEL, in 1969. Dr. Morrison held various management positions in research,
plant management, new business development, strategic planning and acquisitions until 1977, at which time he was appointed Vice President and General Manager of the
North American Catalyst Group. Initially the group consisted of manufacturing, marketing and research for hydrotreating catalysts. However, during the ensuing decade manufacturing, marketing and
research organizations were added for fluid catalytic cracking and specialty catalysts. While in this position he frequently traveled and interacted with North American customers and the European, Asian, and
South American Operations. He was also a member of the Board of regeneration and catalyst services company, Eurecat U.S. Inc., from 1982 through 1990. In 1991 Dr. Morrison joined a major refining and
petrochemical licensing firm, IFP, as Vice President of Sales and Technical Service for North America and continued in that capacity until 1998. This worldwide organization offered most refining and
petrochemical process technologies and catalysts to the industry for licensing. Global Catalyst & Process Technology Management, PLLC was formed in 1998.
